Atypical Teratoid rhabdoid Tumor (AT/RT) is a rare tumor usually diagnosed in childhood. It is very aggressive, and has a very poor overall prognosis.
A wonderful woman, Jill Carroll, brought this disease to my attention, when one of her beautiful twin baby girls was diagnosed with this form of brain cancer back in November of 2009. Evy is a strong little girl, who is fighting everyday!
